Minimum 6 years of Java programming experience. Performs highly complex computer programming work. The position involves all stages of development including requirements, design, implementation, debugging, testing, documentation and release of JAVA based software solutions. Examples of work performed: Analyze, debug, develop and implement JAVA solutions for TEAM. Assists in developing solutions to software related problems. Perform duties assigned in accordance with department standards and procedures. May assist in preparing detailed analyses, plans, diagrams, and verification procedures for existing and proposed computer applications. May assist in the generation or installation of systems software. May develop and implement specialized programs to supplement and enhance systems software. Will work with Java (J2EE)/XML development, Web-based architectures, Object Oriented analysis and design. Share technical knowledge and expertise with fellow team members. Performs related work as assigned. Primary task will be: Upgrade the existing application to a newer version of Java.
