Script to extract Excel Sheets
Hi, PLEASE READ DETAILS BEFORE BIDDING. PLEASE! Project Details: I have a folder with 400-600 excel workbooks. Every workbook has a sheet named "XYZ". I would like to create a script to extract sheet "XYZ" from all the workbooks. I prefer VB script but let me know what is best. The folder will be on Windows OS. Challenges: 1. Some workbooks might have spelling errors so I should be able to modify the script and run it again so you are expected to show/teach me the whole script and you will be compensated 2. Another Scenario - If I would like to extract second sheet from all workbooks, I need script for that too Notes: 1. I need this urgent and I will not accept your bid if you have no reviews (I dont mean to discourage you but I cannot afford to take chance on this one as I had bad experiences with new members before) 2. You should be able to walk me through the script 3. The script should be clean. The objects/functions etc should be named right with comments in proper english - Everyone says this but I am serious - If I like your work, you are guaranteed to have ongoing projects with a proper spend I will provide more details as we go. Extract the sheets in a folder names "abc" or it can be any folder. I am not sure if it can be extract as excel sheet. CSV might work if excel format is not possible. 2. Extract all sheets in another workbook. So I will have a workbook with 400-600 sheets. Hmm..Dont know if this possible but I would prefer this. I dont need to add them in DB as I need the sheets.
