C# Developer required urgently for a 6 month contract by my client a major Broadcast company based in Milton Keynes. Objectives: To work on the development of products to grow and expand the clients software range using C# .Net MVC. To work on Web Services Projects and to assist in Text Display System Projects To champion design, coding standards, change and version control, documentation and testing standards as appropriate. Coding, design and testing of betting systems. Testing and deployment of new products. To work on maintenance and upgrades to existing systems. Responsibilities: Ownership of releases supported by Systems team. Accountability and responsibility for design, implementation, testing, documentation and knowledge sharing. To assist support staff and internal/external customers as required. Essential Technical Experience: C# .Net 3.5/4.0 Strong knowledge of web development using ASP.NET MVC 3.0 Strong experience of TDD, unit testing & mocking Strong OO, design patterns, DDD Agile experience - scrum, XP, TDD, continuous integration etc Desirable Additional Experience: Experience in the following areas would be a distinct advantage: XPath LINQ to XML SQL Server LINQ to SQL C++ COM / DCOM Pinvoke/.NET
