We are a software/hardware startup looking for a Bluetooth expert who can help us as we develop the code that will live on our embedded systems. We are looking for someone who has worked with both Bluetooth classic and BT 4.0 (ideally on iOS devices). We envision the consultant spending about 1-2 months in our office with us full time. Some other requirements follow: - Deep understanding of the Bluetooth Core 4.0 specification. This includes both Classic (2.1+EDR) and LE (4.0). - Ability to write test harnesses capable of verifying functionality of the bluetooth stack at all levels. - Solid skills in embedded systems development (C programming). - Familiarity with the MSP430 family of microcontrollers from TI. - Ability to work under the constraints of such resource-limited systems (i.e. - less than 10kB of RAM). - Start: as soon as possible - Duration: 1-2 months - Location: must be able to work IN PERSON in our Palo Alto office. NO OFFSITE CONTRACTORS - Major plus: Intimate knowledge of iOS at the Bluetooth level.
