Job Title: Product Manager, Mobile Web Duties: The Product Manager's primary responsibility will be to create, develop, deploy and maintain community experiences and programs, on a new product platform with both Web and Mobile components. The first aspect of the project will be the development and maintenance of an engagement platform that targets the millennial demographic. The platform will include development of mobile applications, a website and integration of a reporting and analytics tool. The second aspect of the project will be the program design, development and launch of related products and services. He or she will collaborate closely with the project manager, marketing manager and technical product manager, as well as managing design, marketing and development partners. Essential Functions: Concept exploration (generation, intake and idea distribution) Define, analyze, and communicate a product roadmap aligned with business objectives and supported by business cases, market research, customer data and competitive analysis Document and prioritize product specifications including goals, use cases and requirements Partner with UX to execute customer research, wireframes & prototypes, and usability testing Lead and motivate a cross-functional team of business owners and engineers to refine the feature set and evolve the solution using Agile methodologies Define and refine product strategy based on testing/pilots/feedback Determine and drive the product launch strategies both internal and external Responsible for quality control and workings with QA teams Develop and manage beta and pilot programs, with emphasis on tracking success criteria Define and refine product strategy based on testing/pilots/feedback Coordinate post-launch activities and gather customer feedback to validate product performance against established success metrics. Prioritize and deliver necessary product enhancements Drive innovation process speed and quality with each initiative Manage and support rapid decision-making during the critical experimentation and executions phases. Skills: Innovation/Entrepreneurial/Self-starter Bachelor's degree, Graduate degree preferred (MBA or MA or equivalent degree/experience) 5-7 years of experience, with increasing levels of responsibility, in product management/development, preferably in mobile applications Demonstrable delivery of outstanding end-user experiences, while driving constant innovation Experience with mobile applications (iOS and/or Android) and web (HTML5) technologies highly desirable Excellent analytics. Use hard data to assess opportunities relative to others. Metrics driven, ruthless in prioritization, with a deep understanding of customer needs and the market landscape Excellent project leadership skills in multi-functional team settings; able to lead a team without hierarchical authority against challenging deadlines Proven track record of owning successful products through the product lifecycle - product launch is a must. Ability to determine needs, align priorities, define requirements, deliver to the market, and ensure value is delivered post-launch Excellent communicator (verbal, written and presentation). Articulate the product strategy and roadmap and write detailed specification documentation Proactive leader.
