Position: Project Manager - Marketing DB Location: Chanhassen SUMMARY: Looking for experienced software development PM that has 1+ successful implementations of a Marketing DB project Producers within Consumer Technology at our client are responsible for managing project scope, timelines, budget, and effective delivery of member and prospect digital solutions. They lead and motivate project teams, making timely decisions to ensure project success within set parameters. They ensure expectations are clearly communicated across internal teams and business stakeholders. Examples of Work Performed 1. 70% of their week actively managing projects through various phases of software development (Discovery -> Delivery), 15% on gathering requirements for smaller-scale projects (in collaboration with Business Analysts), 15% on status reports / project metrics and resource planning 2. Work across a numerous programs and projects to ensure technical excellence of our consumer-facing experiences - Responsible for management and delivery of Interactive projects on budget, time and within agreed upon scope 3. Manages multiple projects and tasks simultaneously 4. Provides ongoing project update reports to internal teams 5. Responsible for following and monitoring project management processes and documentation 6. Assists in educating clients internal and external to Consumer Technology on the Interactive process 7. Oversees projects from conception through delivery including overall continuing project maintenance 8. Ensures ongoing resource needs are captured and utilization rates are maintained across the interactive team 9. Responsible for management and communication of budget status and tasks among team members and enforcing deadlines 10. Responsible for coordinating final delivery of Web applications including implementation phase, UAT, final sign-off 11. Seeks out vendor or internal solutions and manages overall project issue resolutions 12. Oversees asset and document management for projects 13. Proactively work with Business Analyst, Creative, User Experience, Development and Quality Assurance Analyst to define project requirements and estimate effort to deliver Qualifications Minimum Qualifications - Education: Four-year college degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience Graduate degree preferred - Experience At least 5-7 years of professional experience as a Producer / Project Manager or equivalent position responsible for defining and managing project scope, timelines, profitability, and effective delivery of digital solutions Strong grasp of current web technologies as well as related business issues Experience in agile/iterative environments Experience solving business problems with technology Excellent written and oral communication skills Must be confident working with all levels of management, and understand the demands and responsibilities of those roles Experience effectively working with external clients and internal client teams At least 2 years of experience working on projects that include 50% or more of the following: o Numerous programming languages (Java, JavaScript, C#, PHP, Objective-C, Python, Ruby, etc) o Enterprise level content management and/or collaboration tools (Adobe CQ, SharePoint, Jive. etc) o Content distribution networks and other media delivery platforms such as Scene 7, YouTube, BrightCove o Browser performance testing, load testing o Rich internet development (AJAX, Flash, Flex, Silverlight) o Mobile development (Phone Gap, Titanium, mobile web and application development) o Social integration or Apps with Facebook, Twitter, etc. o Web analytics packages (Google Analytics, Omniture / SiteCatalyst, Unica) o Search engine optimization techniques and tools o Behavioral targeting or end-to-end marketing optimization (CRM type tools, A/B testing, etc) o E-commerce or other monetization technology integration (experience with Insite a plus) o Integration tools & techniques (ESBs, Orchestration, SOA, XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, etc) o -NIX, Windows, and Mac OSs o Hosting / Cloud / SaaS offerings o Vendor management
