Project Description: We need someone who has designed the product models and business processes used around a product configuration tool. This is a Pure Business Analyst role Duties and responsibilities include: Responsible for the accuracy and maintenance of the model structures within the Oracle Product Configurator application of the Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) for all North America Configured Equipment items Program the product configurator for a limited number of product lines per the Engineering design which involves understanding the design requirement, programming the application, unit testing the changes and working with business partners to ensure full system testing is complete and implementation is successful Troubleshoot and help identify root causes of and resolve simple product configurator developer and system applications logic and program issues utilizing research and interaction with other departments/personnel for positive results Interface with Marketing, Engineering, and other business partners to attain information required to set up items and options in system applications, and determine rules utilized by the product configurator for new models and the on-going maintenance of existing models Assist the manager in establishing project plans and estimating work effort and communicate the status of tasks to all departments involved in the design and implementation of products in the Configurator Attend project review and new product development meetings throughout the product lifecycle Assist in the creation of product documentation (Change Requests, matrices, etc.) in accordance with established procedures to remediate problems in product configurator developer and system applications Requirements: Communication skills: strong presentation/ communication / facilitation skills (oral and written). Business process analysis and redesign experience: strong business analysis skills; process mapping; business process redesign and implementation. Good understanding of Oracle Product Configurator Module Model Design and Development Experience in Oracle EBS 11.5.10 or greater release (R12.1 preferred) Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator and listener. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project.
