I'm looking for someone who can develop a basic command line media player. It needs only to play one video codec (H264) that will be in a container with an audio file (possibly MP3) The player needs to work on the Broadcom BCM2835 as used in the Raspberry PI so the media player must be using hardware acceleration with OpenMAX. I believe using GStreamer with an OpenMAX plugin will be the easiest method, but of course it can be done which ever way is the easiest for the contractor who takes this job. I have an example of video and audio play back using OpenMAX IL that is shipped with the Raspberry PI. If the two can be combined then this may be the easiest option.
