Experienced INFORMATION SYSTEMS ANALYST (ISA) Health Care (IT) Information Technology Techis needed in a Central New York health care facility to add to its team in the Information Systems Department. * LOCATED in the center of New York State, the city of Syracuse (Population 156k city and county 467k) is in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region which includes many Resorts, Casinos, and close to Lake Ontario, Lake Oneida, the St. Lawrence River, the Adirondack Mountains and the Thousand Islands. Forbes Magazine (June 2010) ranked SYRACUSE, NY fourth (4TH) in the U.S. as the FAMILY FRIENDLIEST cities based on inexpensive housing (homes and apartments), easy commutes (extensive highway system), low crime and great schools. * COMPENSATION ranges from $20.00 per hour or ($41,600) per yr. to $25.00 per hour or ($52,000) per year Based On Experience. * JOB TYPE is Temporary to Permanent/Retained Employee, Full-time. * WORK SCHEDULE will require employee to work flexible hours Monday through Friday. A 40 hour work week. Schedules vary from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, 8 am to 4:30 pm, 9 am to 5:00 pm and up to 6:00 pm at the latest. * EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE required is a BS Degree in Computer Science, 2 years of work experience utilizing a MEDICAL or HEALTH RELATED INFORMATION SYSTEM (preferred). Database experience a plus. * JOB DESCRIPTION : The ISA’s duties include but not limited to the following: * Responsible for the implementation and support of various information and communication systems at numerous sites. * Must gain sufficient expertise to train and provide basic support for the systems. * Will assist with documentation, procedures and troubleshooting as well as database maintenance for assigned systems. * Will report to the Information Systems Manager * BENEFITS: Health care insurance is provided at employee’s expense when hired on a temporary basis.
