One of SGA's major financial clients is seeking a Data Conversion Analyst for a contract position in King of Prussia, PA. The Data Conversion Analyst is responsible for undertaking the following tasks in the data conversion process: analyzing client data, developing specifications, producing conversion samples, engineering a conversion plan and loading data. The Conversion Analyst is also responsible for leading the conversion process, for one or multiple concurrent projects, through the production and delivery phases. In addition, the Conversion Analyst is also responsible for maintaining communications with clients through the various phases of a project. This position requires the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities simultaneously while conforming to deadline constraints as well as weekend/overtime obligation. Job Responsibilities Provide pre-implementation support in analyzing data samples and identifying potential risk factors Undertake detailed analysis of sample data provided by customers in order to develop project specifications, map account data to internal systems, undertake test conversions, and forecast resource requirements Engineer the data conversion process for customer projects, including establishing time frames and tracking of outstanding issues, based on the data analysis Assist in leading the multi-functional project teams in implementing the data conversion production plan, coordinating efforts among functional areas, as well as outside vendors and consultants, and communicating essential information to team members Assume responsibility for communicating with customers throughout the project Monitor progress and maintain responsibility for delivering projects on time Conduct extensive QA on all data load and conversion development Gather, define, document, and implement business requirements for production and enhancement requests when needed Required Experiences and Skills Bachelors degree in business or technology related field Five (5) or more years of progressive technical and/or managerial experience in data mapping of financial accounts, file conversions, analysis, and similar functions. Three- five years experience as a business analyst, developer, or related project role preferred Financial industry experience(investment management a plus) Strong analytical skills and detail orientated Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications: Access, Excel, and Word Proficiency in Microsoft SQL; UNIX a plus Ability to work effectively with others in a team orientated setting Ability to deal effectively and communicate with individuals at all levels Ability to understand and execute oral and written communications
