Job Title: CNC Machinist Level I Job Summary: Operates various machines, including but not limited to: CNC Lathes, Hydraulic Press, and Fork Lift in a safely and efficiently manner. Produce and maintain the highest quality parts. Maintain accurate Production documentation and data. Perform routine maintenance on equipment(s). Maintain clean and safe working environment. May perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Must have clear understanding and practice all safety rules and regulations. • Must have clear understanding of Quality Policy and Quality System Programs. • Follow all procedures, instructions and specifications; written, drawing or verbal. • Produce only the highest quality parts, dimensionally and cosmetically. • Follow all safety guide lines of equipment(s) assigned to operate. • Must know all functions and capability of assigned equipment(s). • Must be able to use and interpret necessary measuring equipments. • Maintain clear and accurate Production Documentation and Data. • Perform light routine maintenance on assigned equipment(s). • Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Requirements: Skills: • Reads and understands English and numerals sufficiently to comprehend verbal and written instructions. • Speaks and writes English sufficiently to communicate in a clear, understandable manner. • Basic Math. Education: High school diploma or GED. Experience: • No previous experience required. Physical: • Good eye/hands/foot coordination. • Good visual acuity – can not be colorblind. • Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push and pull. • Continuous standing and/or walking • Ability to continuously lift and move parts weighing up to 10lbs on small machines, 50lbs on big machines. • Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy and/or dusty environment.
