Position Highlights Position responsible for providing direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, utilizing the clinical and cognitive skills specified in the RN/LVN Skills Inventory record, including specialized and expanded skills, exhibiting broad nursing knowledge and an ability to manage and communicate effectively with the healthcare team. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development as it relates to the different life cycles. PRN basis Rotating days 6:00AM - 2:00PM MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1.Graduate of a school of vocational nursing. 2.Current State of Texas license/permit to practice vocational nursing. 3.Certified in Basic Life Support. 4.Minimum 2 years experience as an LVN in a skilled nursing facility, long-term facility, or acute-care hospital.
