Overview of Position: We are seeking local translators/linguists with experience in telecommunications and website content who are native speakers of Mexican Spanish to work on-site as full time contractors with the linguistic QA team (the system is only accessible in house.) Duration of the project is approximately 3 months. Location: Germany (Karlsruhe) or UK (London). Position Responsibilities: • The project scope is adaptation from Spanish (Spain) to Spanish (Mexico) and some lingua QA • Communicate with engineering team and project manager on project progress • Participate in project meetings • Undertake other duties as required Position Requirements • Mexican Spanish native speakers • Effective English oral and written communication skills • Self-starting, proactive attitude • Ability to work independently • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure • To be residents in the specified location (preference) • Experienced translator/linguist or degree in Translation (preference) • Software localization experience (preference) • Ability to implement QA procedures (preference) To Apply: If you pay attention to details, you are technical, articulate, and hardworking; you are encouraged to apply for this position.
