Extensive PM experience required, ideally within development environment (infrastructure background considered also). Candidates should come from a technical background. Opportunity for further contract extension. Required Competencies: 5 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution. Bachelors Degree in IT/ Computer Science/ Business or similar. Expert in project management (PMI certification desired). Strong communication and presentation skills. Strong team building skills and influence skills. Expert on the IT process (SDD process). Ability to manage ambiguity and multi-task Ability to effectively handle multiple projects with different timelines. Ability to facilitate effective decisions. Management skills and organization skills. Strong ability to manage "virtual teams". Time Management skills. Beneficial Competencies: Experience working in the Financial services area. Experience working in a large global organization. Microsoft .net development experience. Oracle/ SQL server development/ administration experience.
