My client are currently looking for an experienced Android Developer to join their fast growing team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience developing mobile applications on the Android platform, they must have full life cycle knowledge and proven experience developing applications from scratch. To be considered for this role candidates MUST HAVE: • A proven track record contributing to Android applications that are live on Google Play. • Extensive experience with object-oriented design and multithreaded programming. • Good knowledge of design patterns and anti-patterns. • Proven experience with all the aspects of Android UI. • Deep knowledge of background services, receivers, loaders, fragments, C2DM. • Experience with JSON/XML and interfacing with server side HTTP based API's. • Strong experience optimizing code for performance.
