Advertising Copywriter The copywriter is responsible for developing highly effective, original and targeted marketing copy for the promotion and sale of the clients products and services as well as. The copywriter will work in tandem with internal clients to write and edit advertisements, email campaigns, web content, etc. This individual will interact with the creative coordinator, other client coordinators, and the clients and advise them regarding content related issues. Developing and presenting copy concepts to account managers and clients. Varying tone and language messages based on medium, target audience and product. Writing new copy, editing or rewriting existing copy as necessary and submitting copy for approval by supervisor or client Writing press releases, web copy, email campaigns, articles, brochures, print, and other related marketing, informative and promotional material. Spinning articles to refresh information or to be presented to a different audience. Copywriting: Skilled in writing for social media. print and online advertisements, and public relations materials Ability to write good, clear copy in a variety of styles with accurate spelling and grammar, that is concise, customer centric and that puts the message across Knowledge of best practices for writing for advertising for print and electronic media Excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills Logic, creativity and imagination Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Excellent organizational skills Self-motivation, flexibility, stamina and ability to adapt Ability to work within a tight budget Confidence, enthusiasm and determination Accuracy and attention to detail Resilience to accept criticism of your work Commercial awareness with the ability to understand the target audience An interest in popular culture, new trends and styles Good research skills Good administrative, IT and proofreading skills Ability to work with client/client coordinator to determine goals of project Knowledge of customer buying cycle Ability to manage time closely to be able to meet agreed-to time estimates Excellent command over the English language Creative mindset with strong visualization skills Communication: Solid ability to perform oral and written communication with customers, team members, and management.
