NC - UX Design Web Content Writer Primary Skill Sets 8-10 yrs: GUI Design Secondary Skill Sets 2-4 yrs: Mobile Computing Targeted Skills & Competencies: Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of directly related work experience, including writing for transactional and instructional text and navigation across a range of online media platforms. * Proven online writing and editorial skills. * Experience writing or editing engaging copy for financial services audiences in the digital space * A background in retirement planning or financial services is a plus. * Meeting with program sponsors and marketing staff to consult on creative direction of the copy whilst ensure copy meets guidelines on messaging and tone * Responding to feedback with skill and professionalism * Reviewing work of other writers as needed * Fact-checking and copyediting as needed Expected Responsibilities: Revising existing copy and create new copy for UX Designs ensuring copy meets guidelines on messaging and tone * Speaking the language of the audience and find the correct line between copy guidelines and users language * Understanding best practice across different forms of online delivery * Thinking outside the box to create copy for consistency, appropriateness for our audience and needs, structure, marketing logic (including search ad logic) and in some cases SEO Suggested Experience & Qualifications: 7+ years experience writing, editing and maintaining Web and other digital content, including Web, email, mobile and social. * Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Creative Writing, Journalism, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience * Expertise in web content strategy and experience within a Fortune 500 company or interactive agency. * Experience creating and managing content for multimedia formats (audio, video, Flash, etc.) * Solid understanding of SEO strategies and tactics * Experience managing social media content, including user generated content, blogs and forums. * Exposure to multiple business functions * Current on technology through training and independent research * Online portfolio and writing samples Keywords: Web Development
