IT Infrastructure Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION The IT Infrastructure Manager wil be responsible for building and maintaining the IT infrastructure of the company, including servers, PC’s, LAN/WAN, help desk, corporate services, and telephony. Incumbent shall work in tight coordination with other IT Managers and business unit heads to identify and prioritize IT development projects and tasks. Establishes, plans, and administers the overall policies and goals for the IT Infrastructure department. Analyzes the needs of departments and establishes priorities for systems design and implementation to develop new and/or modify the company's information systems. Establish IT policies, standards, and controls in regard to system administration, security, and performance. Manage multiple technology implementation projects by establishing project plans, leading or participating in project team meetings, and communicating progress. Drive the selection process and management of necessary technology, vendors, and consultants. Manage internal IT support staff. Responsible for maintaining and communicating a budget of all technology-related costs. Recommend technology improvements or enhancements that will contribute to increased efficiency. Maintain adequate IT infrastructure to support business requirements and standards during extensive periods of growth and change. SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS 8 years+ experience working in multiple IT environments, with strong, direct technical experience. 4 year degree in a related field required. Must possess extreme attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and analytical thinking ability. Advanced skills, Windows 2000/2003 Server, MS Exchange, SQL server, Cisco telephony and network systems. Strong research skills, vendor selection experience, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
