As a temporary member of the Communications Infrastructure (CI) team the Communications Engineer is part of a global team composed of architects, engineers, and project managers responsible for strategy, architecture, engineering and service delivery of data, voice and video infrastructure. Responsibilities include but not limited to: · Unified Communications Project – participate in the ongoing Unified Communications project and support to integrate best of breed UC products from Cisco, Microsoft, Tandberg and others to provide a comprehensive UC fabric for offices worldwide. Experience in Video/Audio Room Design and Implementations. · Other Communications Projects – participate either as a team member or team leader in Communications Infrastructure projects to make changes or enhancements to the global communications infrastructure. · Communication Infrastructure Service Support – provide day to day support in response to reported issues or requests. · Documentation –assist other CI staff in creating documentation to enhance ongoing support or projects including as appropriate, requirements documentation, test plans, process and procedure documentation, implementation guides, user guides. Requirements Ø Cisco certified CCNA or CCIE preferred Ø Experience of Cisco UC products, Tandberg (MCUs, VCS Control, and Telepresence), and/or Microsoft OCS/Lync products. Ø Good technical documenting skills Ø Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Ø Experience and comfortable in working in a globally distributed team. Keywords: Systems Engineering
