Rapid Storage Technology - This position requires architectural design for next-gen security storage features as well as other features in the RST stack and developing the proof of concept. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Windows driver development and debug/mentoring junior developers when necessary Working with Marketing and Planning to develop requirements for storage products Prototyping or conducting proof of concept and technical feasibility exercises on future software features and products Writing detailed Software requirements specifications and Software architecture specifications (UML) Estimating software resource and skill requirements for storage software projects Reviewing and providing strong feedback on product software architecture specifications and design specifications Working very closely with customers, OEM's and end users on product definition which requires excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, good communication and leadership skills REQUIREMENTS: 7+ years' experience in C/C++ and Object Oriented coding skills Excellent programming skills 5+ years' experience in Windows WDM device driver development experience Must have strong problem solving skills and communication skills Work well in a team environment Excellent interpersonal skills Self-motivation Good communication and leadership skills Strong problem solving skills Additional Skills (Nice to Have): 7+ years' experience in Software Development Life Cycles (SDL) or Agile or Waterfall Knowledge of applied cryptology and security concepts at both the hardware and software level Estimated length of assignment: 18 months Number of positions: 1 Estimated hours per week: 40 % of travel required: 0 Telecommuting: No Experience & Expertise Level: Senior Please include a daytime phone number where you can best be reached with your Resume.
