Responsibilities include: Developing, testing, debugging and maintaining assigned software products with minimal assistance. Develop and/or revise: Conditional and control statements in VB.NET or Visual C# Web application UI code Client-side browser-based script Structured Query Language (SQL) Select, insert, update, delete statements Stored procedures, user-defined functions Ability to learn and apply the following agile development practices: Test-Driven Development Simple Design Refactoring Pair Programming Education required is a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a computer technology field or equivalent experience and 2 years of software development experience. Candidates must also have the ability to understand: Client/server and web based architecture Object Oriented programming Relational Database Management Systems HyperText Markup Language (HTML) HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) SQL indexing, SSIS, and maintenance plans The ability to debug applications written by self and others is also required.
