SUMMARY:               Job Title:        Sr. Java Developer             Duration:         6+ months (long term)             Location:        Alpharetta, GA   Position Description and Responsibilities   The candidate must be comfortable in creating, optimizing, debugging, updating, Java/J2EE applications, and will be involved with both back-end and front-end application development.   This person will be interacting directly with a project manager, architect, and other team members and will also occasionally be engaging with employees from other off shore offices.   The Developer is responsible for implementation of Web-based applications, Front-end development including Dojo (or other Web kits like Extjs, jquery), JSP, JSF, AJAX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Frameworks, templating and Oracle   Experience/Position Requirements   The ideal candidate will have a total of 10+ years of experience in software development Commercial experience in Web Application development and / or software development (essential) Experience of object oriented programming / modular programming (essential) Understanding of MVC design patterns and frameworks (essential) Experience of the software development lifecycle: from requirements and functional specification, to development, testing and delivery (essential). Experience in Core Java and J2EE technologies like EJB, JMS, JSP, Servlets, Java Swing, XML, XSD, XSLT, and XPATH (Essential) Comfortable with working in CVS/SVN repositories- branches, merging, building (essential) Experience in Automation & coverage of development testing – unit testing, Dojo harness (essential) Experience in working with both Windows and Unix/Linux development environments required Enthusiasm and an interest in all things technology Good levels of communication.
