Lead QA Analyst Mayfield Village, OH Our Fortune 500 client outside Cleveland OH is seeking 2 Lead Quality Assurance Analysts with experience using automated testing tools. One opening is for a 1YEAR CONTRACT position (with extensions likely). One opening is a 6-Month CONTRACT-to-HIRE position. - Functions as a subject matter expert in the Quality Assurance Analyst (QAA) position where skills and knowledge are wide-ranging and include an in-depth understanding of practices, policies and procedures and are applied to complete tasks. - Responsible for following procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements. - Able to execute and document the testing of software/applications to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects for large-scale projects which represent a greater than normal risk to the company. - Works independently and provides guidance on complex issues to others. - Demonstrates exceptional judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. - Makes recommendations on direction for tools and processes, and how they will be used Essential Skills: Minimum of 8 years experience in software quality assurance and testing of multiple applications with significant size, scope and complexity (i.e. Sales, Servicing, Finance, Billing Applications, etc.) is required. - Strong technical aptitude and proven analytical skills required. - Demonstrates the ability to understand technical requirements, concepts and procedures. - Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, negotiate with and influence others. - Ability to organize and lead testing efforts. - Ability to write a test approach/strategy. - Experience using automation tools - Quality Center (QC) and Quick Test Professional (QTP) are the preferred tools. - Defect reporting & analysis. - Ability to conduct test risk analysis. - Understanding of SQL and DB2 database services. - Understanding of SQL Queries, Views, and Stored Procedures. - Experience with XML and possess the ability to update, edit, and create test data in using XML. - Understanding of HTML. - Experience with basic testing types including: Component (Black Box), Security, Usability, Web Services, Mainframe, Database, and Desktop/Client. - Excellent communications, relationship building, coaching, and critical thinking skills Plusses: - Experience with Framework for Integrated Test (FIT). - Experience with Mobile Native App and Mobile Web testing. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Please click the button to apply for the job.
