Skills required: php and knowledge of Virtuemart shopping cart. Need the ability to allow a customer to put a $0 item in their cart, choose a shipping item and complete checkout. Currently a $0 item in the shopping cart does not trigger shipping method selection or payment method selection which throws an error and does not let the customer finish their transaction. This must work with the shipping methods and payment methods already setup on the site. Additional payment or shipping methods cannot be added. Adjustments to code should not interfere with checkout of items that do have a price. Finished code will still require a customer to choose a shipping method. Payment method will be bypassed ONLY if cart total equals $0. Programmer will not need access to client site. Deliverables will be in the form of the modified checkout pages. All code should be fully commented to ensure that it can be transferred during a virtuemart update. Please read the project first and write the word "Understood".
