Web Analytics / Metrics Analyst San Jose, CA Technisource is currently seeking an experienced Web Analytics / Metrics Analyst for a long term contract in San Jose, CA. *** MUST be legally eligible to work in the US without additional sponsorship *** No third party / corp2corp / subcontractor candidates *** Must be onsite (this is not a remote / telecommute position) We are looking for a very experienced Web Analytics professional with 5-7 years experience and least 3-5 years experience with leading analytics software such as Google Analytics, Omniture, Site Catalyst, SAP Business Object etc. and who will be responsible for providing management with comprehensive, actionable data and insights. Very solid experience generating and working with KPIs, Macro and Micro Conversion Rate, CTR, Bounce Rate, Search ROI, and Custom Dashboards. This includes analyzing website performance and trends, providing recommendations to optimize and improve the performance of the website in order to meet corporate and strategy goals. This also includes generating reports, providing analysis and insights, maintaining the integrity of data collection and using data to drive decision-making across the organization. Performs research and analysis pertaining to business, website and competitive data in order to identify opportunities for operational and revenue enhancements to include: Conducting needs analysis to identify analytical approach and required data which may include internal and external sources Performing research through the data gathering process, organizing data (i.e., growth, trending) and analyzing the results Maintain and make actionable recommendations to management regarding website and third party improvement opportunities Collaborate with technical resources, product team and 3rd parties to ensure all links & pages are properly tagged with Google Analytics code for existing and new initiatives REQUIRED: Bachelors degree in Mathematics or Statistics from a four-year college or university and four to five years related experience with at least 3-5 years of experience in web analytics includes working with tools such as Google Analytics, Omniture, Web Trends, SAP Business Object etc Proficient in a Windows environment; in the use of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio to present the data.
