We are continually making improvements and adding features to our website, We're looking for someone with experience working with Drupal to do programming work on an "as needed" basis. Currently we're wanting to build a forum using Drupal's forum functionality. This job will also require some custom coding. These are the features we are looking for in the forum: - User can create a new topic within a forum. Forums can only be created by administrators. - User can post videos (using YouTube embed functionality), images, or text in the original post. They can post text and links in the comments section. - Comments can be made by users either on the original post or on others' comments. Responses made based on other users' comments will "quote" the comment being responded to. - The number of posts or responses made by a user will be saved in that user's account. - Posts or comments made by admins will be highlighted in some way. - Admins can assign a thumbnail image to a forum. This image will be visible on the main forums page. - Forums can be organized into groups, like this: /f/ - Admins can move topics that a user posts to the wrong forum - The forum works with our existing spam filter, Defensio. In addition, we'd like Facebook integration setup. Currently, users can login to the site using Facebook. We'd like them also to have the option of posting their forum topics to Facebook via our website. Lastly, we need some customization to the post-it note feature on our site. It lets people "Ask a Chef" a question. Users must be logged in to submit a question. The questions are emailed to an admin. We'd like to also have the question be posted to the forum. The user would choose the forum topic in their submission. We have another project coming up in the near future that involves PayPal integration, setting up online quizzes, and some other miscellaneous coding. It's important that the person we hire have time for projects like these, and have a strong understanding of Drupal and it's various integrations. Thank you for taking the time to read our post.
