We are currently seeking the services of full-time Senior BI/DW Developer/Architect, on the Microsoft BI Platform, for our client's Windsor, Connecticut office. This position is located in Windsor, Connecticut. Main Duties: Develop a Business Intelligence solution framework according to Architectural specifications to integrate the following components: Data Warehouse and metadata, ODS, Data Staging, Data Quality, OLAP cubes, ETLs, scorecard, dashboard, reporting tools, analysis of error logs as well as complementary tools Participate in data design walkthroughs to communicate data warehouse and Data Mart table designs to Team members Analyze, document specifications and develop ETLs (Integration Services), OLAP cubes (Analysis Services) and reports (Reporting Services) Ability to analyze SQL logs, troubleshoot performance issues, communicate with client to resolve issues in all environments Actively participate in the design of the ODS, data warehouse, data marts, and cubes for all products and client implementations Work closely with Project Managers, Architects and clients during project implementations Creation and maintenance of the logical and physical data models for the production and Business Intelligence data warehouse and data marts Develop prototype views and reports of the data, and work with business users both internal and external to refine their requirements Demonstrate self reliance in researching technical solutions and product functionality Continuously improve upon existing approaches by seeking opportunity to creatively transform current business practices into fresh alternative solutions Identify critical integration issues and develop corrective solutions To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed.
