Are you proactive, energetic and positive? We need someone like you to help us with the daily running of our family and hope you would consider being part of it. We are an easy-going family, with two little ones who are curious, have a great sense of imagination and enjoy being outdoors. Having had previous experience with young children, babysitting or within a more professional environment, you will be able to 'go with the flow' and contribute to family life. You like being outdoors and active, happy to travel and be available to help when necessary. We would like someone to be with us ideally for 12 months or more. You will help us with the effective running of the family. This involves assisting with the children in the morning (between 7-930/10am) and evenings (5 -730pm), though times may slightly vary (i.e., some mornings end at 9, others may be a bit later). Above playing with our children and engaging them, you'll help get them dressed and fed, tidy up, help bath them and put them to bed. Saturday mornings are also included (7-9am), then the rest of the weekend off until Monday am. You will also care for them on the occasional Thursday afternoon and at maximum two nights babysitting per week. Additional hours will be paid on top of that. You will earn £85 per week plus room and board, plus additional costs related to childcare (i.e. travel). Light housework will be required (helping with the laundry/dishes, tidying up, some cooking etc), we do have a cleaner who comes in regularly though. Flexible and helpful you will happily offer additional help when children or parents are not well and situations where extra care needs to be provided. When travelling you will help care for the children while away (a ski trip and other trips to Europe or Canada) to mutually agreed hours (we are very fair and sensitive to your needs/desires as well).
