Kforce is currently seeking a junior to mid-level Software Engineer with solid hands-on experience of C# and ASP.NET development. The successful candidate will participate in the entire solution's lifecycle from research, development to deployment of internal applications along with external solutions. This is a junior to mid-level position. The conversion salary is targeted at $60,000-$70,000 per year. Responsibilities Include: Aid in the maintenance and on-going support of existing software applications, engaging users as necessary Provide solutions to client defined data and reporting needs Analyze manual processes and design programs to automate those processes Design, code, test, document, and troubleshoot SQL / BI deliverables Design and implement user-driven templates, databases, and interfaces for ease of use Develop database-driven web interfaces for rapid, Real-Time information sharing Collaborate with others to test and resolve issues with deliverables Contribute to the development of estimates, project plans, and milestones Work on multiple projects providing development and maintenance work with limited direct supervision Demonstrate your commitment to continual learning while maintaining a knowledge base Perform analysis, development, and documentation of technical requirements The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): Strong knowledge of C# .NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, MVC2/3, .NET Framework, and Visual Studio 2008 / 2012 Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills Experience with relational database development using MS SQL Server, stored procedures, and competencies in data modeling and database design Possess a working knowledge of Web Services, .NET Framework and Application, Windows Workflow Foundation, and Security Vulnerabilities Experience with AJAX, XML, XSL, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, and Web Services Understanding and working knowledge of basic Internet protocols such as HTTP, SMTP, SOAP, POP, and SSL Minimum 2 years of developing web-based applications Previous experience with developing applications using Microsoft Products to include Excel MS Access experience will be a plus Must have a team focused attitude with strong communication skills Ability to manage tasks, work well independently and as a team member, and prioritize a workload Ability to meet deadlines and provides required data, documents, and information to others as requested Excellent communication and organization skills A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or related field
