Senior Infrastructure Project Manager Chicago, IL Axiom Technology Group is currently looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Project Manager with PMP Certification and a strong background in Network and Telecom projects with large company infrastructure environments. This position is located in the Chicago loop and has an initial duration of 3-6 months with possible extensions. This role is open to all, on a contract basis. Scope: We are seeking a Senior Project Manager able to manage multiple high priority, large scale Telecom, IP Telephony deployments, WI-FI enhancements, MPLS router Installs and network equipment life-cycle refresh projects in a 24x7 enterprise environment. Must have the proven ability to clearly and effectively communicate business and technical information and be able to articulate ideas well verbally and in written format. The candidate will have the ability to adapt quickly to a rapidly changing, fast paced and dynamic environment. The candidate must also have in-depth experience working with application developers, infrastructure engineers and major project stakeholders tactfully communicating and controlling scope. The candidate must have proven track record of being able to drive projects successfully from beginning to successful conclusion. Tasks: -Coordinate management of multiple projects directed toward strategic business and other organizational objectives. -Build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with stakeholders at multiple levels, including those external to the organization. -Define and initiate projects, develop communication plans, manage schedules and all phases of the project through completion. -Must be detail-oriented, dedicated, and be able to work under pressure in a fast- paced environment Skillset Details: **Experience in large scale critical infrastructure projects implementation. Ability to independently problem-solve, be very detail-oriented and have the ability to capture, organize and analyze information. Excellent knowledge of network technologies and proven experience in the data center space a plus!
