Psychologist (Telephone Assessor)

Due to significant growth within our business we are recruiting a part time Psychologist to complete telephone psychological assessments at our office in Merchant City, Glasgow.This position is initially a 6 month contract. Working hours will be approx 26 hours per week and flexibility between the hours of 8am and 9pm over 7 days is required, although shifts will be set when agreed. The role involves conducting telephone psychological assessments, producing high quality, coherent reports recommending clinically appropriate interventions with clear rationale. You will work closely with our Psychological Needs Practitioners (telephone counsellors) to understand the needs of the client. You will be also be responsible for: Collecting information about presenting problems, history & maintenance of problems, relevant contextual issues, risk, psychological history etc. Conducting, completing and recording psychometric data Producing reports that can be used for internal or external purposes Participating in regular supervision activities and work with other Psychologists You must be a Chartered Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, HPC registered and ideally have experience within the NHS conducting assessments. Familiarity with EAP and PMI would be advantageous. Excellent communication and IT skills are vital.
