We have an immediate requirement for SEO resources. Location: Bloomington, IL Duration: Very Long Term This positions are to augment our SEO (Search Engine Optimization) team. My resources are severely overburdened with day-to-day tasks that impact their ability to manage strategic work prescribed by our SEO vendor, Covario. Required resources 2: Level: Junior/Seasoned Experience: 2-5 Years Skills: Strong overall understanding of search ranking factors, content optimization, and link building Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw insights and refine/develop new tactics Local SEO Experience Link Building Outreach Experience Strong Experience with Omniture SiteCatalyst Familiar with W3C Knowledge and Understanding of CMS (Content Management Systems) and how to work around their limitations Ability to take SEO Request and create a strategy/plan around getting it implemented This resource should have a strong understanding of SEO and require almost no training in that discipline. Their focus would be some of the larger projects that are going on like the CMS Transition or working with .CA teams on updates that would impact SEO. While they may have some questions about how State Farm does or sets things up they would be able to field many SEO questions and help lead internal initiatives.
