Cincinnati Modis is assisting their local Cincinnati client in finding a Sr Oracle DBA to lead and mentor peer DBA,'(tm)s. Long term (1+ yr renewable) contract in Cincinnati, OH; local candidates only. Senior Level DBA Requirement: The candidate must be a very experienced Oracle data base administrator with in-depth skills in: a) Must have ASM b) Oracle 11G R1/R2 c) RAC configurations (active/active, active/passive) d) Performance Tuning e) Diagnosis during slowdowns or outages f) Establishing new data bases Candidate should have experience supporting high volume, mission critical 7 x 24 production systems with high availability requirements. Candidate must be able to lead/mentor peer DBA's This is a 2nd shift position but individual must be open to working other shifts and weekends if need arises. 2nd shift: 1:30pm to 10:00pm.
