My client is a well-established bank, situated in Mount Laurel , NJ. They are looking for a Sr. Project Manager (PMP/ Risk Management) This is a 6 months contract to hire position. Job Overview: Provide leadership and direction, planning and management to selected Direct Channels Technology Solutions projects Principal Responsibilities - Projects according to the bank’s project management methodology - Deliver technology projects according within agreed date and budget - Develop project schedules from stakeholder estimates - Develop project budgets from stakeholder estimate - Perform variance analysis on schedule and budgets - Develop and track resource projections - Develop and execute project governance structure - Manage issues, actions, and risks - Manage project change requests - Conduct workshops to gather requirements, estimates, review documents, etc. - Provide leadership and direction, planning and management to a matrixed project team - Provide timely status reports to technology and LOB management - Maintain effective relationships with project owner, management and the project team - Oversight matrixed/direct management of team. -Presentations Strong task/project level plans. Ideal Previous Work Experience We are really looking for someone that can talk to their contribution on delivery of med. to lg. Projects. They should have strong resource management and show capability in building out documentation. They also need to be able to deal with audits and have the strong documentation to back this up. Someone that is fully capable of management and control (2MM). Capitalization and expense management understanding. Top Technical Must Have Skills: Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC) experience / Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience Need very strong Risk/Issue Management skills. Web based multi tiered applications. (self servicing and through a CRM) Top Technical Nice to Have Skills: Financial services/banking experience as a PM. Strong understanding in building requirements. PMP or Six Sigma Training. Soft Skills Need to be able to communicate the impact of missed milestones. Need to be able to escalate issues ahead of time. Need to be able to deliver tough messages, be able to work well under pressure and strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Need to have strong documentation skills as well.
