Loan Modification Specialist
Contemporary Staffingâs Philadelphia branch is currently recruiting for Loan Modification Specialists Position Overview: Individual will support MI Operations, processing requests for the government Home Affordability and Stability Plan (HASP). Loan modification process includes: processing performing and non-performing modifications from original notification to final resolution, customer contact and system updates. Candidate must have the ability to handle multiple projects and must be able to interact with internal and external management. Responsibilities: 1. Review loan modification requests and process efficiently and timely, ensuring department turn times are being met: Manage requests delivered through Salesforce.com (SFDC) Review certificate level information in VMS to confirm accuracy and determine appropriate action Review loan modification details in the request. Enter updated information in the loan mod database Document notes in SFDC so team understands what has transpired Transfer information to CSV file, process files and maintain an updated Loan Mod database Send Letter Of Intent to client Execute Brio report queries to obtain information from the Loan Mod database to respond to requests and inquiries 2. Inquiry resolution includes some interaction with the client, risk manager, loss manager and other operation groups. Apply Radian & Government Sponsored Entity (GSE) program guidelines for inquiry resolution as needed. 3. Assist with the implementation of loan modification program changes & system enhancements. As well as perform some UAT (user acceptance training). 4. Assist in documenting and updating loan modification processes & procedures. Requirements: Knowledge of mortgage insurance, mortgage origination and underwriting business & GSE Familiarity with mortgage operating systems Understanding of UAT procedures Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Ability to work under time pressure Proficiency in Excel 2007 – some experience in database tools preferred (Access, Brio, SAS) 1-3 years of related mortgage experience required.
