Our client is seeking a Contract Recruiter who will: Provide client facing recruiting support for the corporate headquarters move to Mclean, VA Work with hiring managers of varying levels to develop effective job descriptions and sourcing strategies for a variety of skill sets, and will successfully guide managers through the staffing process Work to understand the hiring manager's business and staffing needs, and will screen, and track qualified applicants Be responsible for negotiating and generating offers and completing all necessary administrative actions May also consult with internal clients on market trends, competitive intelligence, and recruiting Be responsible for recruiting a diverse qualified talent pool and building effective relationships across the company's staffing community Complete Taleo training within the first week of the assignment The following skills, knowledge and experience are required for this position unless noted otherwise: 4+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience to include 2+ years of recruiting experience in a corporate setting, preferably within the defense industry Must be results-oriented and customer-service focused Strong organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills Articulate and able to communicate with management of all levels, to include first-line supervisors as well as Corporate Executives Proven track record of working in a fast-paced, complex, and deadline-oriented environment Demonstrated experience in establishing trust and credibility, working independently, interviewing and negotiating skills Ability to actively provide recruiting support to multi-site operations Capable of effectively building positive work partnerships with geographically dispersed multiple staff levels Experience with applicant tracking systems and MS Office Knowledge of industry hiring practices, compensation/job classification, and employment laws (FLSA) A Bachelor's degree is preferred; however, 6 years of relevant experience and recruiting accomplishments may be considered in lieu of a degree
