This is a 9+ months contract position. Position Description:   · <SPAN style='font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; '>      Primary role is the preparation and analysis of the consolidated $30+ billion balance sheet · <SPAN style='font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; '>      Liaise with Corporate Accounting Services to understand and incorporate executive summary explanations for debt and financial assets · <SPAN style='font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; '>      Review and analyze changes and ending positions of other balance sheet accounts · <SPAN style='font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; '>      Review and prepare rollforward of Cumulative Translation Adjustment account (CTA); Liaise with team managers to understand ongoing activities that may impact CTA · <SPAN style='font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; '>      Review and preparation of statement of comprehensive income · <SPAN style='font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; '>      Responsible for preparation of weighted average shares · <SPAN style='font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; '>      Responsible for review and detail of investments; Analysis for impairment trigger events · <SPAN style='font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; '>      Provide balance sheet required disclosures to External Reporting group for financial statement inclusion · <SPAN style='font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; '>      Liaise with External Reporting Group to understand new requirements for disclosure · <SPAN style='font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; '>      Develop and execute plans for efficient collection of data for disclosures · <SPAN style='font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; '>      Lead contact for Professional to understand and educate team on business activities and impacts on financial statements · <SPAN style='font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; '>      Lead contact for PwC on balance sheet inquiries and consolidated audit assistance · <SPAN style='font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; '>      Lead for Carrying value analysis to be used in impairment testing for Policy team · <SPAN style='font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; '>      Work with Policy team to derive and communicate required accounting for new standards and unusual transactions · <SPAN style='font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; '>      Become SAP and BEX superuser to improve group workflows · <SPAN style='font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; '>      Special projects as required     Qualifications:     ·<SPAN style='font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; '>         Minimum of 10 years experience in accounting, experience with consolidations preferred. ·<SPAN style='font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; '>         Strong PC and financial consolidation application skills are critical.  High familiarity with Excel.  Working knowledge of SAP, SAS or other financial reporting applications is preferable. ·<SPAN style='font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; '>         Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting or finance.  CPA required.
