Global Publications Group Project Coordinator This position will support the day-to-day functioning of the Global Publication Group (GPG), located in South San Francisco and Basel for a 12+ month contract. Key responsibilities will include: Coordination of GPG Contracts and Financial Reporting: Act as local contracting & finance expert for external vendors and GPG managers Assist in the submission of new contracts and collaborate with Genentech procurement managers to ensure timely processing of contracts Hold monthly meetings with GPG managers to review status of open contracts and update financial outlook Collaborate with the company's finance managers to update GPG financial outlook on a monthly basis and ensure accurate reporting and forecasting Assist in the preparation of training materials and communications to ensure all parties are aware of contracting and financial best practices General troubleshooting and remediation Database Administrator: Act as super administrator and local expert on group databases Perform regular maintenance and QC of records in all publications databases, including user maintenance Generate and analyze standard publication metrics and conduct regular spot audits for compliance Assist in the creation of best practices and updated training materials Skills: Strong computer skills, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), required Self-starter, able to follow instructions and identify when to ask for clarification Excellent attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication Strong collaboration and teamwork skills Data entry experience preferred Experience with basic financial reporting and contracting principles a plus Experience with database management or performance metrics a plus Prior experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical environment a plus Education: Bachelor's degree.
