Seeking: Senior highly skilled front-end web designer for our website build with the potential to join our team long term. We're looking to hire for this role right away. You will work to create the initial concepts/wireframes and final mockups to look and function well in various device sizes (web, tablet, phone). You will work alongside with a technical project manager and eventually the front-end developer. Optimally you will have experience creating responsive designs, or at least have a good understanding about how this impacts the design and user experience. Who we are: We are a small Chicago-based technology company working on several exciting projects and need your help. We are looking to hire you for this project on contract. If it goes well and we like each other, we have a lot more work and could potentially turn this into a full-time role. What we're creating: New social product recommendation and subscription site with elements similar to Pinterest/Twitter/monthly product subscription sites. Your responsibilities: Provide input, ideas, and some new concepts for branding Produce wireframes / mockups in various device sizes for each page / popup. Produce HTML and CSS files from each mockup (this is a plus, but could possibly be handled by the front-end developer if this is outside of your specialty.) Other Requirements / Info: This is a remote position, so you can work out of your house and in pajamas, if you wish. We are hard working and serious about high-quality work. But we're also laid back, young, and fun to work with. Must be fluent in English You must be able to dedicate the majority of your time to this project (i.e., close to 40 hours a week). Must be available for daily/weekly meetings via Skype Must be able to accurately plan your schedule and meet deadlines.
