Integration Test Engineer **** Client will hire candidates who have Set-top Box/DTA testing or Headend/DAC/DNCS testing experience. The group performs both headend and device testing work. **** Location: Downingtown, PA 19335 with some travel to Radnor, PA 19008. Interview Process: Phone interview to hire The candidate should have a technical background to cover the following: - Knowledge of embedded systems, including C, scripting software - RF, HDMI interfaces - MPEG, video (PAT and PMT), audio processing - CA system messaging - EAS, DSM-CC messaging - Video capturing tools, RF probe, Ethereal - Operation of DAC and DNCS - Video systems equipment, GQAM/SEM/APEX, BMR, DM, DCM, CASMR, DTACS The candidate should have a working background to cover the following: - College degree, preferably a four year but will accept a 2 year degree with appropriate test background - Understands test methodologies and the scientific method - Submitted test reports - Analytical skills to determine good data from bad - Test case writing skills - Used Excel and Word for projects and other assignments - Experience as a tester of anything - Submitted defects - Has people skills and can communicate well in various situations - Worked in a fluid environment and has initiative - Can travel to Downingtown on an as needed basis Please note the skills for a tester is the person who is methodical, records and analyzes the results, and does this for 200 test cases that have to be done in less than four weeks.
