This individual will have to be able to understand complex business requirements and their effects on UI, provide appropriate feedback and questions, and be able to illuminate hidden and poorly defined requirements to develop systems which provide best in class user interactions. Responsibilities : Analyzing specifications and business needs to determine appropriate technologies and configurations to meet those business needs. Ability to turn designs into working pages. Design and develop new UI features and widgets. Enhance current UI architecture and design to improve usability, performance and scalability. Help to establish better UI standards and libraries. Work with product management, QA, and documentation to deliver high quality, complete software releases. Work with support and project teams to maintain and improve current software to meet customer and project needs. Technical Knowledge of front-end programming technologies and methods Experience/Skills Required: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related experience preferred 3+ years of experience in software development companies building complex, commercial, enterprise class products. Must be proficient in Web UI programming using JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML, etc. Knowledge of XSLT is a plus. Ability to learn new tools and technologies as required. Strong knowledge and experience with object oriented design and programming concepts. Web UI design experience is a strong plus. Excellent technical, problem solving, and communication skills. Experience in a fast paced startup environment with short, quick product life cycle very desirable. Must be a great team player and a highly motivated self-starter.
