$40 - $70/hr Excellent CBD Location 3+ month contract Ruby on Rails Contractor This is a 3+ month contract opportunity Duties and Responsibilities Develop and maintain automated search scripts for various web sites and databases Develop and maintain a Ruby on Rails application to manage data Design application components as needed Implement and document design decisions and development methodologies Develop and implement backup and recovery processes Implement software testing strategies Assist and mentor existing developer Requirements · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field · Experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails · Experience with MySQL · Understanding of MVC application design · Experience with jQuery or other javascript (JAVA) libraries a plus · Familiarity with distributed version control systems, preferably Git · Strong development background If this sounds like you please send your resume to Luke in word format or call me on 02 9223 0066 for a confidential discussion.
