Technical Author required, Manchester - 3 month Contract Type - Contract (6 months +) Location - Manchester Rates - �TBC Start Date - ASAP Manchester based client requires a Technical Author for an initial 3 month contract. The business has recently created and released a number of web based applications, and so they require a self motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Technical Author to assist with the documentation of these products. Essential Skills: - Experience of writing Technical documents / handbooks - Analysis of solutions, and documentation of that solution - Create and maintain all documentation relating to technical products - Creation of templates - Generation of user manuals, guides and help - Documenting technical API's Desirable skills: - Background in computing technology (Web based .Net applications) - Ability to listen to Technical and Non-Technical people alike - Ability to write testing documentation You will be comfortable with detailed technical information and be able to communicate in technical and non-technical terms. You will be able to translate complex technical terminology into simplistic user friendly formats. Ideally you will be accustomed to getting up to speed quickly, and getting to grips with how the business works.
