Our client is currently looking to recruit an Automotive Seating Engineer to join their Vehicle Engineering Department. With an exciting 2 year project ahead, this is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidates within a forward thinking advanced engineering environment. This position is a contract role and is based in Bedfordshire. The Seating Development Engineer will support new model Seat System development and model localisation in Europe. Main Tasks & Responsibilities; * To manage Seat development through digital and physical phases and achieve quality, cost & delivery targets. * Manage Suppliers to achieve all project deliverables. Background & Experience * Detailed Automotive knowledge of front and rear Seat Frame, Mechanisms, Foam and Fabric development. * Previous experience must have been gained in OEM or Tier 1 Supplier. * IDEAS/NX CAD Skill would be useful but not essential.
