Sales Support Specialists - London - £24,000 to £26,000
Role Overview: Sales Support Specialists provide comprehensive support to the Sales Team and Clients. Providing full back office support including performing database counts, briefing in data processing jobs and scheduling in email campaigns. You will regularly liaise with internal teams and Clients via telephone and email and may also need to attend sales meetings with Sales Execs and assist with sales presentations. You will need to gain understanding of the companies products and services in order to facilitate client questions whilst the individual sales person is not in the office or available. You will manage the progress and delivery of the companies Consumer Insight Products ensuring the Clients requirements are met and within the agreed timeframe. Sales Support Specialists are an important link between the Sales and Delivery teams. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with assigned Sales Executives and the Delivery team, maintaining good internal working relationships. · Continually look for ways to support and optimize the movement through the sales process for assigned Sales Executive. Manage incoming calls and emails from clients and internal teams, including Delivery, Finance, Legal, Operations and Marketing. Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with Clients. Provide administrative support to the sales lifecycle including performing database counts, raising invoices, briefing in data processing jobs, compiling information, client communications and internal communications. Comprehensive sales support utilizing Microsoft Office and internal systems to a high standard. Ability to work across business units to support the sales executives. The first line of contact with the Direct Client Teams for client support. Key Skills (including any technical skills): Essential: -Excellent oral and written communication skills -Excellent telephone skills -Experience teaming and collaborating with others -Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) -Excellent organizational & time management skills -Strong attention to detail -Experience working in a fast paced Sales environment Desirable: -Previous database marketing experience -Experience building and maintaining strong customer relationships over the phone Competencies & Experience: Essential: Previous Sales environment experience including client facing duties. Strong Administrative experience in a fast paced, demanding environment Desirable: Direct Marketing Database Marketing Digital Marketing Knowledge of compiled data applications and analytic driven solutions. English language skills Education/Qualifications: Degree educated preferred but not essential A-Level educated or equivalent
