A pioneering Mobile Telecommunications organisation currently require an IP & Security Design Engineer to join their team. The successful IP & Security Design Engineer will be responsible for working within the wider IP Design strategy, you will capture the specifics for the evolving IP routing, switching and security strategy and policy. You will understand customer requirements and implement solutions meeting those requirements, communicating consequences on costs and timescales and delivering cost effective elegant designs into operations. You will also work with vendors to ensure that equipment deployed in customer networks is fit for purpose. Candidates will have previously carried out an IP Design role within a Mobile Telecommunications environment or blue chip organisation. Candidates are also required to be CCIE and CCSP certified and have hands on experience of OSPF, QOS, NAT, VOIP, IP routing and switching. You will also have an understanding of MP-BGP, RIPV2, MPLS, network management platforms, firewalls, SNMP, load balancing and knowledge of IP addressing on a multiple site/size basis and knowledge of Cisco 6500, 7200 VXRS, 3600, 2600, & 837 routers, 4000, 3500 and 2900 catalyst switches and platforms and Cisco Security Manager (CS-Manager), Cisco Security Monitoring & Reporting System (CS-MARS) Project People Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
