Technical Enterprise Architect
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work on a unique project that will require an experienced and driven Enterprise Architecture to help with the implementation of a range of proposed solutions both Applications and Infrastructure. Within my clients Information Management and Architecture Practise, the requirement has arisen for a number of talented and enthusiastic individuals to work to define and apply my clients Enterprise Architecture to its portfolio of projects. The key objective of these positions is the creation within a TOGAF 9 framework of an appropriate Enterprise Architecture whilst supporting and guiding the rest of the Architecture practise in its correct usage in current and future projects. Due to the number of positions available and large response anticipated, it is vital that you can demonstrate and describe where you have impacted previous business using a structured approach. Overview:- My client currently going through a period of change and require someone with the ability to deliver the following key objectives. Resolve issues with the legacy environments. Create the Strategic Initiatives to meet a proposed 5 year plan. Prepare for the impact of the changes that the 2013 CAP changes will bring. Support and inform programmes involved in meeting objectives and change. Inaccurate source data for past claims, present claims and future claims. A lack of standard processes and controls. Ailing systems and unsuitable technology An organisational structure and associated corporate services that are not fit for purpose. Insufficient systems and tools to support customer delivery and ongoing service. Responsibilities:- Own the definition of the Artefacts to be produced to complete either the Infrastructure or Application components of the Architecture in the context of the complete Enterprise Architecture and a TOGAF framework. Identify and enact the relevant Governance models. Support and guide the Architecture practise in the use of the Architecture, both in the context of procuring new solutions to Business problems, resolving BAU issues and the future Target Operating Model. Support and guide the business, in conjunction with various guidance bodies, e.g. Design Authorities on the use, their involvement in the Governance process and input to the Information Architecture. Skills and Experience:- A proven track record in delivering Enterprise Architecture in a Green Field environment against a background of Technology and/or Business Change projects involving significant numbers of staff and volumes of work, using a structured Architectural Framework. Evidence of supplying Technical Leadership in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Must demonstrate credibility and authority to work with and influence people at different levels of the organisation. The ability to communicate to a diverse audience of stakeholders the concept, value proposition and the potential benefit that can and are being delivered.
