Here is an overview of the job description The Print Production Specialist ensures that all regulatory and legislative print content is accurate to the state source of record and is responsible for maintenance of product quality and accuracy through the application of internal content guidelines and standards. The Print Production specialist must have solid knowledge of computer applications including content management systems and MS Office. This position requires the ability to work effectively in different work flow processes and with multiple document types and formats. The Print Production Specialist provides discretionary and final judgment for processing queries received from offshore and provides exclusive reports on any work flow or content errors identified in their final quality checks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs the final quality check on all print documents to ensure that accuracy and content standards are reflected. - Understands and consistently follows work flow procedures. - Maintains work flow documents with a high degree of accuracy. - Works with offshore vendors to clarify content and resolve queries. - Provides feedback to offshore vendors and other departments on quality or technical issues identified. Qualifications: - Associate's degree or equivalent with 2 years of work experience in a field that demonstrates ability in required responsibilities. - Must have strong organizational skills. - Must be able to work in a team environment. - Must be proficient with Word and Excel computer programs as well as internet knowledge. - Must be able to learn complex work flows and application systems. - Must be flexible and responsive to change.
