Business Systems Analyst - FIX or FX SME
Job Responsibilities: Direct Client Onboarding activities for business in the products assigned, for example, Equities trading (FIX) and StreetFX services. On behalf of the business sponsor, effectively manage the technical activities associated with implementation of new client or investment manager mandates. Liaise with the Account Management, Sales or Trading Managers and their clients technical contacts to obtain client requirements and build an implementation plan. Perform gap analysis of the clients requirements to our capabilities and the service offering. Document and communicate the results of the analysis. Coordinate with internal service partners to execute on a mutually agreed upon solution and plan. Establish connectivity, perform file mapping using standard protocols, deploy to user acceptance environments, execute client testing and coordinate end to end testing with downstream application owners when applicable. Manage documentation libraries, e.g., Rules of Engagement documents, team procedures, etc. Produce quality management reporting and associated metrics. Stay abreast of industry developments that may affect the processes, standards, protocols, tools or technology being used to support the business. Provide level 2-3 support to Technical Operations teams periodically. Will also direct special projects related to Client OnBoarding. Employee Specifications: - BA/BS in Business, Finance or Computer Science - Minimum 5/7 years experience in a Financial Services Business or Technology environment - Strong analytical, business analysis and creative problem solving skills - Thorough understanding of and practical experience with Project Management methodologies and tools; inclusive of the SDLC, RUP/SSUP, MS Project - Strong leadership skills - Relationship management and negotiation skills - Experience with Client testing and Software Quality Assurance principles - Experience with FIX 4.X protocols, SWIFT standards, SQL manager - Experience with data mapping tools helpful - Knowledge of file transfer protocols - Strong verbal and written communications skills; proven ability to work effectively with varied functional teams and varied management levels Eliassen Group, a national technology consulting and staffing solutions company, introduces companies to high quality and committed professionals for project, supplemental and permanent opportunities.
