Promotional Sales Representative £18,000 PA, OTE £35,000 (6 month full time contract - to possible perm) Uncapped Commission – 35 hours per week – Generous Holiday – Pension Scheme Our client is a highly regarded reputable company that has been established over 30 years. They have an excellent reputation in delivering great service, valuing their employees and offering great benefits. The company are successful leaders in the consumer insurance sector and have established a team that will increase brand awareness. This is a face to face sales role working at promotional stands within the Manchester area in locations such as shopping malls where there is high footfall. You will be based at each location for a period of approx four weeks before moving onto the next. The position requires you to initiate conversation and interact with the public in order to generate interest in the products. You will then to take the potential customer through the sales journey with a friendly and personable approach. Responsibilities: Ø Frequently engaging with the public and initiating conversations Ø Fact finding with open questions and identifying customer needs Ø Promoting and raising awareness of the company’s products Ø Utilising the relevant literature to assist in promoting the product Ø Matching features and benefits to meet customer needs Ø Adhering to FSA guidelines (training given) offering valid/correct information Ø Achieving and exceeding personal targets in order to achieve bonus Ø Attending pre-booked promotional stands ensuring visual standards are adhered to Ø Representing the company brand in a professional and polite manner. Ø Abiding by each locations security, safety and attendance procedures. Ø Maintaining a fair, consistent and ethical approach to all customers The ideal candidate should be confident and have the ability to open dialogue and generate interest with individuals on a face to face sales basis. They should be resilient, have excellent verbal communications skills and be driven to take advantage of the uncapped bonus structure.
